Anne Farrar is an Assistant Managing Editor for Photography at National Geographic Magazine. Previously she was the Director of Photography for National Geographic Traveler. She has been a photo editor with news organizations for over 30 years including The Washington Post, The Dallas Morning News, and the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. When she's not in the office you'll find her exploring the mountains and looking for her next cup of coffee.
